PROFESSIONAL WORK EXPERIENCE

Open Text,  Dublin, Ohio                                                               8/95-present

Software Project Manager / Software Developer

My most recent responsibility was to produce a customized, highly collaborative commerce and knowledge management application together with a partner company.  Prior to that I lead the integration of our collaborative knowledge portal product with leading corporate portal products (Epicentric, Plumtree, and Oracle).  This was a highly visible project within the organization and it had a high level of difficulty due to the fact that we were dealing with various leading edge technologies.

My previous task was to lead a team of people to the completion of an Intranet Application project.  It provided a premier solution for the Corporate Library or Digital Library problem.  It utilized a three-tier architecture approach using Microsoft Internet Information Server with Active Server Pages, BASIS Server, and a PC Browser. BASIS Server is a relational database engine that is SQL compliant.  Understanding BASIS DBA and SA responsibilities were a must for this project.
