Hello one and all!  I hope this new month brings happiness and joy your way!  As you see I'm trying to remain upbeat and positive as a way to shake off the May Blues!
Let's see what to tell you all...Oh, I've discovered the answer to all the problems of the world!  Clorox Disinfecting Wipes!  I LOVE THEM!!!!!!!!  I can do the whole house in minutes and it makes me feel like I've spent quality time cleaning!  They do everything from cleaning Maddie's highchair to the entire bathroom!  I would still use a brush on the inside of the toilet!  LOL!  No I'm not getting paid for the advert, but I thought it might help those busy mom/working women out there.
I've also gotten into Creative Memories...a scrapbooking cult!  It's a direct sales thing and I attended a home party this weekend and loved the product so I spent 150$ on stuff.  Now before you guys gasp for air, it's for preservation of pictures...and my own creative outlet.  I just love the products and it's motivated me to put together Maddie's baby book.  I'll take some digital picts to show you guys.
Finally and not with out reason I've left the doctor's appointment for last.  I got yelled at for gaining 16 lbs.  YUP!  I've been eating way to much and parking the rear on the couch so it was only a matter of time before I got zapped.  The weather here has been unbelieveable so I've been outside and walking more.  I'm planning to hit the beach today after I've renewed my driver's licence.
Yesterday a few of the playgroupers went to this historic botanical gardens called Green Animals.  It's a toperary garden....spelliing?....with tons of plants shaped like animals.  We all brought lunch and then toured the gardens.  It was a blast and I'll post picutres when developed.  That's all for now! Our lovely daughter decided to break her schedule and wake us up at 615a this Saturday morning.  So we used the opportunity to go out the IHOP for breakfast.  It was a fulfilling meal!  Maddie just loved the gravey biscutts!  I only finished half the meal so I'm not feeling too too guilty.
My mouse is starting to act funny so I bought another one to replace it.  The new mouse has a gel handle to form to my wrist which I thought was really cool.  The only problem is that I need to get an adaptor for the thing.  Sigh, it's never ending for me and this bloody computer.  I'm going to keep this short and sweet but will update about weekend later.  Tah~

Why do we marry men?  I just got out of the shower and my husband so bluntly noted that my breast were sagging.  Thanks for the update hun!  It also triggered my first four month weeps...sigh I can't wait til this is over...Tah~

Okay people...I'm a little ticked off that you all are peepin in on my site but didn't email me to answer my question of the week....sigh.  Not one answer!!!!!  Was it too hard a question to start with?  Maybe you guys are afraid I'll post your names or something.  Well I promise only to post what you want me to or nothing at all if privacy is the issue.  So lets try this again....Question of the week.
What are some diet trip ups you struggle with and how do you stop your self?  Mine is the candy isle in the super market.  Those King Size Snickers bars just scream out my name. So I usually go into the store with a list and only get what's on there.  I sometimes go to a store with the non-candy isle.   Ice cream is another.  I just can't avoid or eliminate it from my life so I usually eat it in moderation but every night.  I also allow the points for it so I won't say " Screw it!  I'm going to just pig out."  .  Please please please write to me with your thoughts.

Well it's official...I'm no longer a working woman.  My manager and I decided that tonight would be my last night.  I can't carry a full section and frankly I just don't have the energy to work a full shift.  I ceramoniasly tore out the pictures I had of Maddie taped to the inside of my order book.  I said my goodbye until next years... It was just like I was reading Good Night Moon only restaurant style.  Good night stinky chef who always screwed up my orders.  Good night slow as molassas bartender.  Good night cheap scap tourist.  Good night micro managment owner.  Good night nasty side work and last but not least GOOD NIGHT SMELLY WORK CLOTHES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  You'd be proud to know that I didn't burn any bridges and I'll be able to come back next year.  So now I've got to find an unemployment office and file for temportary unemployment.
Next on the list of stuff to tell.  I'm pissed off at the husband.  Oh he has crawled up me sideways and back down again!!!!!  I am so ready to leave his ass hanging in the wind that's how mad I am.  I'm just completely fed up with his lack of HEARING!!!!!!  I know it's a trait most husband possess, but he really is a super selective hearer.  That and I'm tired of the work he brings home.  He works 11 hours a day anyway.  So he's in the super dog house and I've found my reason to stay in the guest room and sleep on the comfy bed one more week.  Well I'm off to bed and hopefully a good nights sleep.  I can't even begin to tell you what a relief it is to know I'm not needed at work!  Also, keep those answers coming!  I can't wait to share them with you all!  Good stories and good hints to help!  Tah~

And the heavens opened up and the black ominious clouds parted and soon there was  a patch of blue sky and a ray of sunlight appeared and lite a fire under my tush that send me to the GYM!  Can you believe it?  I made it to the gym today.  I'm still stunned that I went at all.   Don't ask me what possed me or motivated me to go, but I'll tell you it was like I was in a different world.  Actually I do know what it was.  I received and email from a fellow diet diva and she told me that she was so motivated by my past journal entries that she went and got herself a gym membership.  It made me ponder a few odds and ends.  I remembered why I use to go so obsessivly.  It made me feel good and semi in control of things.  Thanks!  (name withheld to protect privacy, but you know who you are!)   I can't tell you enough good things about exercising.  I hate it.  I really do!  Like when the sweat starts pouring down my temple and back and my legs are jiggling and I see all the cute young fit things....well lets just say I hate it.  But the feeling I get afterwards and the sense of completion is nothing like I've ever felt before.  It's that feeling that I became addicted too.  So no promises, but tons of claps on the back for finally making it back after a two month reprieve.
I'm still pissed at hubby.  Another control issue I'm sure.  I don't have the stamina to last a week anymore.  I need him to do some things this weekend so I'll make up soon.    Tah~

Oh my God what a busy week!  I just couldn't seem to sit down at the computer for any legnth of time.  We were double booked many days this week and it seems to be getting worse as the summer gets going.  This past weekend, Maddie had a birthday party which I would have blown off if Elmo wasn't going to be there.  For those of you who are new to the site, Maddie LOOOOOOOOVES Elmo!  So of course I snagged some great shots which will be added to the site as soon as I get developed.  But let me start from the beginning.  Friday night I went to a scrapbooking party that lasted until midnight.  It was a blast and I got a ton done, but was so tired the next day.  Hence the wanting to blow off the party.  That afternoon we were suppose to go to a family wedding, but ditched that because Greg and Tasha wanted to come down from Boston.  (Bro and sis inlaw)  So I spent the morning running around like a mad dog cleaning the house.  Maddie of course was no help and decided to skip her morning nap.  Then was cranky all afternoon.  Never fails.  So then we went grocery shopping and video renting and spent all night chatting and watching movies.  If you haven't seen Dogma with Ben Afflic and Matt Damon, then watch it.  It is the fujnniest spuf on religion that I've ever seen.  I just love that they made God a woman!  So then on Sunday, Greg and Tash left early back to Boston and we headed out to Conn. to the outlet malls to buy a wedding present for the wedding Kevin is in this weekend.  The also stopped by my grandmothers house and took a genereation picture since my folks also decided to do a bit of traveling this weekend.  It was Maddie, Me, my mother, my grandmother and my great grandmother...or Maddie's Great Great Grandmother.  The five of us made a great shot and I'm glad I got it when I did.   Nana will be 98 in July.  So then on Monday...the heavens opened up again and I went to the gym.  I'm still making no promises.  I lifted weights and I did 20 mins on the eliptical.  Today Maddie has another Birthday party so I'm off and running again.  I've got all the answers for the Question of the week and promise to have those out soon.  Tah~!
