Recipe for Bath Salts for a Single Bath

Rainbow
bullet 2 Tablespoons Sea Salt
bullet 2 Tablespoons Epsom Salt
bullet 1 Tablespoon Baking Soda
bullet 4 Drops Almond Oil (Optional)
bullet 4 to 8 Drops Essential Oils

Combine sea salt, epsom salt and baking soda in a glass or ceramic bowl. Drizzle almond oil and stir well. Add the essential oil slowly, drop by drop, stirring well in between drops so that the essences are uniformly distributed throughout the bath salts. You should omit the almond oil if you use your bath salts in a whirlpool bath or Jacuzi. To use, add one handful (about a 1/4 cup) to running bath water. This recipe makes enough for a single bath. For proportions for a batch of bath salts, please see this recipe.

Try one of the many aromatic blends given on this site, or use the list of essences to make your own. If you are pregnant or nursing, consult your doctor or aromatherapist before using any essential oils. Never take essential oils internally, and avoid oils that are toxic or irritating to the skin.
