Directions for posting a personal ad on HIVStraight.com
To post a personal ad for the first time. Click post a personal
ad or click login. Then click.
Click here to get a username. Which you can see in Page 2
Which will take you to Page 3
Provide the following information.
City
State Please choose from the drop down
box.
ZIP Code Please enter
your 5 digit zip code.
Country Please choose the country you
live in.
Email Address Please take the time to
enter the correct email address or the person purchasing your email address will
get the wrong address. Example (
Johndoe@aol.com ) This is the only place to you need
to put your email address. If you put your email address in the text of
the personal ad the entire ad will be deleted
User Name please create a user name that can be seen
by anybody browsing the internet. Please don't use your first and last name.
Instead use a nick name or a name that you are comfortable with everybody
seeing.
Password Please type a password. Please
remember to use something you will remember this isn't Top Secret
Reenter Password Please type a password.
Please remember to use something you will remember this isn't Top Secret. This
is the same password as above.
Click Continue

You will be directed to a new page. Click post a Personal ad
Page 4 below is a sample of what you will see.
Choose a Personals Category This is the section you choose if
you are a
Man seeking a Woman
Or
Woman Seeking a Man
Please make the correct choice or you will end up in the wrong
section.
Then click Continue
Which will bring you to Page 5 of the example below.
This is where we will ask for some Personal Information.
Age
What your sex is? Please check your sex.
Height
Please enter your height.
Weight:
Please enter your weight.
Hair Color: Please enter
your hair color from the drop down box.
Eye Color Please
enter your hair color from the drop down box.
Please enter your Personal Ad
Please enter your personal ad. If you insert your email address
in this section your personal ad will be deleted. No exceptions
Click Continue
Page 6 of the examples below is where you insert your picture.
Please go to the location you have your picture saved.
Click Browse to locate the picture in your computer or floppy disk or even if
it is on a cd.
Please remember if the picture is over 100 Kilobytes the picture will not
upload. Also depending on your internet connection this may take several
minutes.
Either once you have uploaded your picture or decided not to post a picture
click Continue.

This is the section were you can double check to see if you have made any
mistakes.
Is the Personal ad going to the right section?
Is your Age correct?
Is Your sex correct?
Is your height correct?
Is your weight correct?
Is your hair color correct?
Is your eye color correct?
Is your personal ad Correct? Have you checked for typos? You don't have
your email address in your personal ad because it will be deleted! Have you done
a good job of convincing someone else they should want to meet you?
