Fellowship and other courses in Strabismology
Fellowship course consists of 15 installments sent one by one, each accompanied by a question paper, to be solved and sent back for evaluation. This is followed by practical training either by CDs and replying to questions sent with the CDs, or by getting a hands-on experience in our ocular motility clinic that can be arranged for, if desired. After completion of the course a testimonial of fellowship is issued. There is a separate certificate for hands-on training including surgery.
A simpler, shorter course is available for ophthalmologists with special interest in strabismology wishing to go for a diploma course. A testimonial to the effect is given at the end of the diploma course
Another course that deals with the basics of amblyopia and strabismus prevention is meant for general ophthalmologists, pediatricians and physicians of other diciplines. Testimonials are issued after completion of the course.
