Born in Antigua, Freeston E.Williams was educated at the New Winthropes Primary School, Antigua State College, And Samuel Jackman Prescod Polytechnic in Barbados, and did several diploma courses with the international Correspondence School (ICS) in Pennsylvania U.S.A.

In 1987, Freeston decided to take up painting as he has always been moved by the beauty and serenity of his surroundings.

Freeston's preferred medium is acrylics, and his use of earth tones capture the warmth of Caribbean life.
