Dedicated to the members (past, present and departed) of the Glen Oaks Volunteer Ambulance Corps.
The Glen Oaks Volunteer Ambulance Corps serves several communities in the northeast corner of Queens.
The Corps was first founded in 1973 by a group of 10 caring, community minded individuals. Since then we have grown to over 65 members. Unfortunately during the past several years we have lost several of our founding fathers - Donald Hallerman in 1997, Larry Feigenbaum in 1998 and Josh Heisman and Richard Heilbrun in 1999 - we owe them all a great debt.
The Corps is dedicated to providing emergency medical care to the residents of Glen Oaks, Floral Park, and South Bayside.

In 1998 the Corps celibrated two major milestones:
Note: During reconstruction we've moved to a temporary headquarters under the apartments off the 260th Street oval. Follow the yellow signs posted in the area to find us.
