C L A N   S C O R P I O

Many many times in Life, I've asked someone what their sign is. The reason I ask is to guage their "behavioral flavor".  I don't claim to have faith in astrology, nor does it drive the path of our Lives.  I do feel that there is a kinship amidst members of a sign, and that the relationship can be likened to a clan.  It makes me very proud to read current events as well as recent and ancient History, only to find that many Scorpios have effected amazing steps for mankind:  exploration, business, medicine, science, art, philosophy, and humor.  It helps to keep my standards high, my sight trained on the horizon, and faith that when my moment arrives to make a difference,  that moment will be recognized and employed wisely.

There are a few traits that many Scorpios share:  deep emotional intensity, strong convictions, powerful intuitions, fiery passion and a penetrating gaze, to name a few.  Many of us continue to pay the price for a fault that we possess  - vengance.  What some people know about Scorpio is that they will love passionately with great devotion, but if thwarted, will deliver a deadly sting.  This analogy to the symbol of our sign is not without a solid base in reality.  Many Scorpios learn early on what deft skills they possess in the arena of retribution.  Many of us spend years repairing damage we inflicted upon relationships as a young soul.  It takes focus and effort, but we can change and progress.

Scorpio is the only sign that literally transforms over the course of Life, granted they have an open mind, heart and eyes.  As a young Scorpio, one is dramatic, brooding, intense, and will sting first, ask questions later.  Entering young adulthood, the individual begins a cocoon stage, known as the Snake.  They will transform, explore, experience defeat, success and love, continually shedding the outer layer and avoiding any solid state.  Upon middle adulthood, the Snake, if fortunate, will encounter some event or change that galvenizes them.  Their forsight stretches to the horizon and they soar up above the fray of normal perception.  Only then has the Scorpio transformed into an Eagle.

In the list below, there are many amazing individuals.  Please take a moment to read their names and consider the contributions they've provided us all.
