Wrangler came to Spot O' Heaven through an auction.  He was bought for the facility by Syndia and Leslie.  Votes for Wrangler to recieve this honor came in at an overwhelming majority from the volunteers and riders at Spot O' Heaven.  They are the ones who work most closely with the animals. This little Pony of the Americas gelding has turned out to have a heart of gold beneath his shaggy grey flecked white coat.  This is the horse that will do anything asked of him calmly, good naturedly, and with a friendly spirit.  Wheel chairs, sudden noises, boisterous riders never faze this little horse.  Looking like an oversized stuffed animal, he has captured all of our hearts.  Wrangler is receiving extra treats in honor of his Award and has a shiny plaque hanging on the outside of his stall door now.  Congratulations to Wrangler, the Spot O' Heaven Horse of the Year.
