" Life Begins With The First Breath And Much To Often We Forget Proper Breathing. So How Can We Remain Healthy? Have You Ever Watched A New Born Baby Breathing? It Breathes Through The Lower Abdomen! Proper Breathing Is A Prelude To Real Meditation. Without The Proper Breathing Techniques Meditation Is Impossible ! Sit Or Lie In A Comfortable Position Place Both hands On The Abdomen. As You Breathe In Threw The Nostrils Pretend That You Have A Balloon Inside Your Belly And As You Inhale Fill Up The Balloon (You Should Feel Your Belly Rising Up) Exhale Your Breath Through The Mouth And Empty The Balloon (You Should feel Your Belly Deflating) When You are Comfortable With This Type Of Breathing Start To Regulate The Breath. Inhale Through The Nose For 5 Seconds, Hold It For 2 Seconds, Then Release It Through The Mouth For 5 Seconds, Then When Empty Hold It For 2 Seconds. This Is One Round Of Breathing. Practice This Until You Are Breathing Naturally Like This all the Time. This May Take Awhile To Accomplish So Please Be Patient!

Meditation
Step 1
Meditation Can Be Done From Many Positions Some Prefer To Kneel, Some Prefer To Sit Cross Legged And Some Lie Down. The Important Thing For a Beginner Is To Be Comfortable. You Should Not Meditate On A Full Stomach Or An Empty Stomach. Clothing Should Not Be To Tight Or To Loose. Room Temperature Should Not Be To Hot Or To Cool. The Room Should Not Be To Bright Or To Dark But Should Be As Quiet As Possible With Minimum Distractions. Always Meditate In The Same Place If Possible Because The Mind Will Soon Make A Connection To What You Are Doing And It Will Take Less Time To Relax And Prepare
Step 2
Start By Rubbing Your Feet For A Few Minutes To Get Your Energy Flowing. Then Rub Your Palms Together Right Hand Moving ClockWise Until They Feel Very Hot.When Hands Feel Hot Place Your Palms Over Your Kidneys This Will Help Stimulate The Adrenal Glands.Next In A Comfortable Position (I Prefer Lying Down) Start Your Abdominal Breathing. Inhale For 5 Seconds Hold It For 2 Seconds Exhale For 5 Seconds Hold It For 2 Seconds (This Count Is Crucial To Proper Meditation) Repeat Breathing.Next Start At Your Feet And Tense Them And Hold A Few Seconds Then Release Work Your Way Up The Whole Body Legs,Arms,Hands,Neck, Back And Finally Stopping At The Abdomen.This Will Help To Relax And Release Tension.
Step 3
With Your Eyes Closed Very Lightly Just So There Is A Crack Of Light Coming Through PlaceThe Tip Of Your Tongue Lightly On The Roof Of Your Mouth Just Past The Teeth.StartYour Breathing Keeping The Proper Count And Follow Your Breath All The Way Down Into Your Belly And Then Back Out Again.

As Long As Your Mind Has One Thing And Only One Thing To Focus On All Other Though Will Cease To Exist But At First There Will Be All Kinds Of Distractions. You May Find That All Of A Sudden Your Nose Is Itchy Or That You Have To Go To The Bathroom After Just Going. These Are Normal Distractions And Will Happen. Just Recognize It For What It Is And Go Back To Focusing On Your Breath.Start To Withdraw All Of Your Senses Beginning With Your Sense Of Touch Until All Your Senses Are Gone. At This Point You Should Be Going Into Yourself (This Is Known As Being One With Self Or Being In The Spirit) It Is Like Finding A Place Or A Closet Deep Within YourSelf And It Is So Very Peacful You Will Never Want To Leave But You Will. It Is Hard To Describe It So You Will Have To Experience It For Your Self.

Step 4
Upon Completion Of Meditation One Should Do A Bit Of Stretching To Bring Circulation Back To The Body.Sit Very Quietly For A Few Moments And Contemplate What You Have Experienced.

This Section On Meditation Is For The Advanced Practitioner.In This Section We Will Be Dealing With The Spiritual Centers In The Body Known As Chakras.There Are 9 Spiritual Centers In The Body But We Will Only Be Discussing 7 Centers.Each Center Has Its Own Vibration And Has A Sound That Belongs To It. The Sounds Are Called Mantras. They Also Have There Own Colours And Symbols This Are Universal.One Should Not Practice this Type Of Meditation Until They Have Mastered The Basic Meditation From Part One.As With all Things In The Universe It Has an Order And Purpose.The Order Should Not Be Changed for Any Reason.Each Center Must Be Opened And Then Closed In Sequence Example Being 1,2,3,4,5,6,7, To Open Then To Close 7,6,5,4,3,2,1 You Should Spend Up To1 Year On Each Center To Master It Before Moving To The Next Center.You Will Know That You Have Mastered It When You Can Open It And Keep It Open As Long As You Wish.Each Center Brings With It A Spiritual Gift This Gift You Will Recognize When You Have Mastered The Center. Please Remember that we are Mind,Body,Spirit And We Should Maintain A Balance!

To Pronounce a Mantra First Inhale As Deeply As Possible Then Let 1/3 Of Your Breath Out On The First Syllable And The Remaining 2/3 out On The Second Syllable The Mantra Should Be Vocalized For 2 To 3 Minutes Then Place All Your Awareness In The Center you are Working On And Hold It There For 15 To20 Minutes.You Will Recognize The Center By Its Colour And Symbols.While Meditating On Your Centers Your Breath Count Should Be The Same As In Basic Meditation. Is For Balancing The Mind This One Should Be Done For A Few Minutes To Prepare Yourself For Meditation On The Centers.Remember To Reverse The Order And Bring The Energy Back to Its Seat Of Power At The Base Of The Spine

3 RA-M:

TWO INCHES BELOW THE NAVEL ITS COLOR IS RED.

4 RA-M:

THE NAVEL ITS COLOR IS ORANGE ITS SHAPE IS TRIANGULAR WITH BARS ON EACH SIDE. THIS CENTER AND THE PREVIOUS ONE MOST OFTEN COME TOGETHER.

5 YA-M:

HEART REGION ITS COLOR IS SMOKY ITS SHAPE IS TWO OVERLAPPING TRIANGLES. (STAR OF DAVID)

6 HA-M:

THROAT REGION ITS COLOR IS LIKE PURE SEA WATER (GREEN-BLUE) ITS SHAPE IS A TRIANGLE INSIDE OF A CIRCLE.

7 AU-M OR OH-M:

BETWEEN THE EYES (KWON AS THE THIRD EYE) ITS COLOR IS WHITE AS SNOW ITS SHAPE IS A TRIANGLE WITH THIS SYMBOL IN THE MIDDLE.
