Some pics from my fantastic visit to New Jersey and New York!

I had the most amazing time visiting with my pals in New Jersey. I just wanted a space to put up some of the pictures I had developed, but a few more are on the way yet. Things will change!

we met these terrific people that sat next to Norma and I at the Play Carol arranged for us to see on Broadway. They had won a trip to NY and were great company, and a great help with pushing the chair up such a steep ramp in the theatre. I wish I would have thought to get their addresses before we parted ways :(

Carol managed to get us tickets to see "Jeckle and Hyde" and it was absolutely fantastic! I had some trouble wrapping my mind around the idea of it being a musical, but as soon as the curtain lifted, I was captivated. The actors and actresses did such a wonderful job!

After we toured around the island of Manhattan on the ferry, Carol took us to this lookout/boardwalk along the river on the NJ side, to see the lights come on in Manhattan. The Empire State Building was sporting blue and white because the world series was on while I was there.

After the Broadway play, we went to China town, and this is outside the restarant where we pigged out royaly! The food was so good, it was beyond description!

I had to take a picture of the restarant name, so I could make sure I got back there again someday.

On Friday, after Norma's cousin brought her to us, we went to the Shore and I remembered I had a timer on my camera so we could all get in the picture. I had to eat a few flowers in the raised garden I set the camera on, but here we are!

Boy this place was great! This was taken at Rockerfellow Center, flowers blooming everywhere, and people skating on the rink! I had a time getting this picture, in the first one Norma and Carol were talking, and in the second, Elsa was hahaha, we did make some noise that week!

Norma, Carol and Elsa sitting at the table at Carol's place. I felt so at home here, Carol and Ed have done an amazing job making this a cozy home.

This is Ricky aka GIN from jj's, we had a blast going for lunch with him. Poor guy was so outnumbered by all us gals LOL

This next 3 pictures are of our last day at Carol's place in the country. Carol and I, then all of us, and then Norma (mi hermana) and I

Elsa celebrated her birthday with us. Carol and I had found a cake, and I remembered seeing candles in her drawer, so told her not to buy more. Well, poor Elsa, they turned out to be trick candles!!

This is Norma and Carol, Norma bought us picture frames (which I have filled with their pictures already)

I got to meet Pelican (Fran) the night before I left. It was so much fun to meet her in person!
