downtown Banff



We found this great burger place named after the Lil' Abner Character that always had a dark cloud hanging over his head. The kids had a blast playing the juke box while we ate.



hoodoo's along the Bow River



This is in a cave where the original source of the lower Banff Hotsprings is. Incredible inside the cave! The pool just outside was shut down because the water temps cooled too much after Mount St. Hellen's errupted. There is still a pool at the upper springs though, and felt great after hiking all day!

ok, the small mountain directly behind the kids, is tunnel mountain. I know it's not the biggest in the park, but it was quite a climb.

When we arrived at Lake Louise, the air was cool, and it was very quiet. Then suddenly, the silence was broken by this wonderful sound. This fellow was playing an Alp horn and made our visit so surreal
