Nolvadex is an anti estrogen. Esrogen is usually present in the male body as a result of having high testosterone levels (this is especially so when on a cycle). There are some steroids that are far more likely to lead to higher estrogen levels in the body. Using an anti estrogen will prevent the negative side effects such as gynocomastia (bitch tits). The way in which Nolvadex works is that it takes up the space on the receptor sites and prevents the estrogen from occupying the sites, thus preventing them from excercising their negative effects.
