Homeopathic Doctor ( Mrs.) Faridah was a pioneer student from The Faculty of Homeopathy Malaysia. The first ever homeopathic college was established on 10 April 1979, and she was among the first seven students to register. In 1984 she passed he Diploma In Homeopathy - D.F.Hom from The Faculty of Homeopathy Malaysia at Kota Bharu. In 1985 she obtained her Diploma In Scalp Scripture. In 1989 he qualified her Advanve Diploma In Homeopathic Medicine - DHMS (Adv) from the same college. In 1990 she got her Diploma In Acupuncture - D.Ac from Research Institute of Acupuncture (MNRI) Kota Bharu and in 1998 she passed her final examination, Doctor of Homeopathic Medicine - M.D.Hom from The Faculty of Homeopathy Malaysia.

    She is one of the rare lady homoepathic and acupuncturist in Malaysia, who has so much experience in both field of complementary medicines. With more than 20 years of practicing , she has treated more than 30,000 patients, ever since she started her carrier as a homoeopath and acupuncturist. Her first experience in 1978 where she started working as an assistant at Dr Nik Omar’s Homeopathic Clinic at Kota Bharu, Malaysia.

In 1985 she was posted to Homeopathic Medical Center at Penang. She worked there for two years before being transferred to Shah Alam Homeopathic Medical Centre at Seksyen 6. In 1997 she was promoted a General Manager at one of the biggest Homeopathic & Acupuncture Medical Center in Kuala Lumpur.

    As an active member of Malaysian Homeopathic Medical Practitioners Association (MRHP Malaysia) she has volunteered herself as a member of Doctor Without Barriers (DRTB) has served many mission locally and abroad. She has been to Thailand worst flooded area in Nakorn Si Thamarat in 1988. She attended many Seminar and congresses abroad and visited many homeopathic and acupuncture center throughout the world including India, Pakistan, China, Indonesia, etc.

    In 1998 Dr Faridah has visited Academy of Chinese Medicine, China Beijing College of Acupuncture and also Ang Meng Hospital in China where she studies new technique of Scalp Acupuncture which was very famous among the acupuncturist in China. She has been admitted as Members of ZhenChu of China, Beijing.

    As a well known lady practitioners in Kuala Lumpur, many stories about her practice has been published in various local magazines and newspapers in Malaysia including monthly MAJALAH INTISARI, WAWANCARA, BICARA, IBUPAPA, PEREMPUAN, MINGGUAN WANITA, BERITA HARIAN, etc. Recently, she came out in local Selamat Pagi Malaysia ( TV1) and NONA ( TV3 ) together with her husband Prof Dr Nik Omar, speaking about homeopathy and acupuncture as complementary medicines for next century.
