    • Tips for flying, training, taking the bus etc. with CFS/FMS/OI
      Support Hose
      Have Medical Identification
      Have a plan in case of a few emergencies you can imagine
      Program lots of phone numbers into cell phone AND bring paper list, too.
      Have a cell phone
      Ride the carts for disabled people at airports.
               The walk is usually farther that you think and you carryons heavier.
      Amtrak offers 10% off disabled fare
      Washington DC Metro has 50% off with medicare card
      Ear plugs for sensitivity to noise. Expandable foam ones can be tolerable.

      Wiggle in seat when not moving around.
      Pack the OI General Info Brochure or other favorite articles in carry on bag
      Perhaps have the tomato drink for salt and potassium in between waters.
      Be willing to use public bathrooms so you can hydrate more.
      A water spritzer to spray face so can breathe hydrated air, keep cooler
       (tell people its water! - use distilled).
      Have safe snacks with you and eat small amounts frequently.

      Board last to limit sitting / upright time.

      Embracing the flying experience! - keeps the anxiety lower
