My beach house is really a fantasy of mine...One that has been with me since I was a child... laying in the grass under the weeping willow, and dreaming dreams of grandeur.
In my mind, was the big house on
a hill overlooking the ocean.
It had a porch all the way around,
and was enclosed with glass.
From the house was a path, and steps made of rocks that led down to the ocean.
Bordering the pathway were flowers that bloomed all year long.
I loved going down to the beach late in the afternoon and evening...walking along
the shoreline, letting the water kiss my feet as the surf pounded the beach...to
note the birds flying around...swooping down occasionally to scoop their
dinner from the sea...
to enjoy the majesty of the sunset.....reflecting on the waves
it's many beautiful hues; and later.....basking in the beauty of the moonbeams, as they danced their way over the white caps.......all of which...
made this the most beautiful and serene place on earth!
The child of this dream...is still deep inside me someplace.
There is nothing more relaxing to me,
as an adult, than a walk along the beach...hearing the sounds of the ocean
as it beats the shoreline...
this time...
dreaming dreams of yesteryear!

The tranquility of the
atmosphere.....
ahhh....what a delight!

~~~~~~~Ocean Wave~~~~~~~
Ocean wave, come comfort me, and
strengthen me anew.
Lift my spirit once again, the way you always do.
Laugh with me as children play, before
your feet at noon.
Smile at me with twinkling eyes,
in the light of a silvery moon.
Bring your gifts of stars and shells that
brighten up my day.
Sweep aside the cares  of life  and chase
the crabs away.
Send a kiss on a salty breeze to
wipe away my tears.
Caress my feet with your tender touch
to quiet all my fears.
Speak to me in whispered tones of love
and faith and hope.
Instill in me your inner strength
and enable me to cope,
With the storms that come my way
in this unstable life,
That cloud my mind and steal my peace
and keep my soul in strife.
O endless wave who's shouldered ships
and crushed the rocks in time,
Renew my strength, my faith, my hope
and help me help mankind.
