Feabuary 16th 1999

Da Joynt hits Vegas up with anotha promised slammin' party and guess what happens? it gets shut down once again. knuckleheads on both sides, FIRST OF ALL PEOPLE YOU NEED QUALIIED SECURITY!!! which means your Uncle cant put on a security shirt and expect to run shit, Cops aint havin that. so yeah its clear that they will shut down Hip Hop & African-American orientated parties, because they find any and every little thing. so be sure to have licensed and qualified Security Officers to keep things koo.
KaL Radio is BACK! Ya'll might have remembered there first show, Well they have recently been takin over by Double Trouble Records and plan to bless vegas and the world with the first online radio station here in vegas, well on hip hop. its promised to even be better 10X then the last show which was tight as it is. we'll keep you updated for sure.

To help promote there new albums "Tical 2000 Judgement Day" & "Doc's The Name" , didnt hear much about it but it was tight no doubt. much love to em both.
Check out our updates in the Biz section and What's Bumpin Section weve added more info on lables and production teams and the 98' year end 10 most hittin albums here in vegas.
For all you Too $hort fans, check out a new Too $hort page ran by this Vegas Pimp Too $hort its really tight, not all graphical but rich in content na'mean?
The New DOOMSDAY PRODUCTIONS album "FILTHY" - will be in stores February 16, 1999   The release day for the new Doomsday album has been pushed back 2 weeks to February 16, 1999, Due too heavy fan request, the first Doomsday album "XV" will be re-released on February 16, 1999 along with the new "Filthy" album. This is the first album Doomsday released on Black Market records back in 1994 and it features Brotha Lynch, Mr. Doctor, and Las Vegas Blvd. Ya'll pick it up. dont know what happened to Blue Ragg "Tales From The Crip" ??
Were gonna cut it short here but we have alota more stuff to report that ya'll gonna really dig.

January 29th 1999

Whats up ya'll, back again.
here's whats poppin! MTV's Real World VS Road Rules stopped by in Vegas awhile back and did there show at the Hard Rock/ hotel to compete against each other, they did performances and imatations of the Jerry Springer Show.
On Sunday December 6th at 8pm Pacific Time, 88 HIP-HOP.COM netcasted live from the FOX Billboard Bash, the official 1998 Billboard Music Awards Pre-Party at Studio 54 in the MGM Grand Las Vegas.   The event was presented by SPRITE and there bullshit ads which try to lure Hip Hop fans to drink sprite. There show featured interviews with Sprite Voltron artists The Goodie Mob, Mack 10, Jazzy Jay, Common and the Exclusive Worldwide Premiere of the final chapter of the SPRITE Voltron commercial series.Ofcourse several of the artist had to sneak in town due to the fact nobody likes them but no problams reported here riight?
The Original Player Too $hort is hittin Major Sales here in the 702 with his 2 new singles and album coming Febuary 22nd, along with the radio giving him play, woah.i was surprised to. Along with 2pac, his single "Changes" has shattered airwaves and television screens, his Greatest Hits Album is flying off Shelves.
Speculation remains if he is alive or dead, well if it was based on half of the therios circulating around i would say he was dead but the things being reported around here we'll say he is alive! a local news station said they have inside reports to back it up. but hey ya'll decide for yourself and only time will give us the answer.
we'll leave ya'll with that, stay up.

January 24th 1999

Ha Ha ya'll thought we was gonna leave ya'll hangin again huh? na we wouldnt do that. Damn news & updates is flowin in with the quickness so we will be behind for awhile so forgive us, but still who else brings it to ya eh? First up people been buzzin about whats up with Double Trouble and why havent we seen a release? Well we chatted with DruDaPimp aka Andrew Romanelli, CEO of Double Trouble. Here is what he said "Ya'll dont worry bout' DT we gonna hit you with some strong shit ya'll aint ready or and recapture the vegas scene and modify it like you havent seen, we have had numerous setbacks due to the people we are working with so it still we will be some time before are next release, i want to thank ya'll for staying TRU and representing the sound of the Vegas Streets!"
We had a DJ Seminer holded up DJ Times a new magazine connected to Upstairs Records Located in New York, it was held at Uta, where every Hip Hop related event seems to be held. we'll hit you back on how it was later
Also the Source did a Fashion Show awhile back it was posted in one of their issue's i know ya'll caught it, ju to let ya'll know thats bullshit. we dont dress like that , sheeayt nobody got enough dough to shell out $60 for pants, $30 for a shirt plus with dem $100 sunglasses/gogels and hats, down here we take a $15 outfit from the goodwill store and make it look good. Why spend over a hundred or 2 on some so called "urban gear" when you can buy a nice italian suit and a dress hat for around the same price and look 10 times better????? you tell me people i sho dont dig it man!
One thing which is a problam and dissapointment is how so many artist have came thru this town, gave shout outs yet never do a show? which is ridiculouis because there is so much money that people would love to spend if Master P did a show here the casino's would try to knock him off because he would take everyones money (ha ha) fo real ya'll i'm serious, hopefully we'll get something besides lil fake R&B bitches like LL Cool J. phoney mutha fucka. anyway they'll wise up sooner or later, fuck it main beclet the Unground make the money riiiight?
Untill next time

January 5th 1999

New Year mutha fuckas so new shit is gonna hit na'mean, damn we back ya'll sorry for the delay.
we got some old updates to hit ya'll right here!
There was a tight ass party in China Town , featured Guest was Dj Presto One went to work along with alota other tight DJ's , the crowd was hyped. Rukus Romanelli aka DruDaPimp was just about to cut it up and bust some raps when the good ole' boys in blue showed up after a few fights and shut the party down. but it was koo while it lasted. Rukus had this to say "We can neva have any party's in this damn town because fools wanna trip on this gang sheeayt, people just come to have fun we all represent differnnt sets but the real dont trip, plus this pigs wanna trip aswell just because the youth is trying to progress and get together" Some sad news, Dou DJ Frankie & ROB have broken up, it is unknown and has been swept under the carpet so we probably wont know, ROB just disapeered, Frankie still does his thang though at all the clubs, so the release of Vegas Flave' 3 will be there last appearance together, unless double trouble can dig up some mo stashed mixes. who know's, only time will tell riiight?
2pac's Greatest Hits was released last month, surprisingly it got alot of airplay,, well the new track "Changes" it also got play on BET and MTV. thought everyone forgot about pac. it is making alot of noise on the charts to, run on over to billboard.com and see where its at. well thats all we are going to hit you up with for now, we gots alot more to post so keep a look out main! Pimps keep Pimpin, Hustlers keep Hustlin'!
