Suicide of a loved one is more painful than can be imagined. It is a traumatic and jarring experience that leads to emotional as well as physical and spiritual wrenching pain. It challenges our resiliency and our place in this world. Survivors may experience a variety of feelings such as detachment and estrangement from others, depression, anger, guilt, and questioning that may never be resolved. MissionIn the USA alone there are over 30,000 suicides annually. With rates so tragically high, the numbers of silent sufferers who have lost loved ones in this painful way is staggering. My hope is to provide survivors of suicide with resources that can provide added support while trying to endure the tremendous pain. To point out problems that do not often get mentioned or noticed. If ever anyone wishes, I would also incorporate feedback or stories from those who have things to share.
