Special training

Anaesthetics: administration of general anaesthesia and regional blocks (spinal, epidural, brachial, lumbar 3-in-1, sciatic) for general surgery, obstetrics, gynaecology, orthopedics for adults and children, in emergency/elective surgery, classes I to IV E (ASA).

Operative obstetrics: Cesarean sections, tubal ligation (open and laparoscopic), vacuum extraction, symphysiotomy, cervical cerclaj, uterine evacuation, 2nd and 3rd degree perineal tear repair episiotomy/episiorrhaphy, bartholin cyst/abscess, incision/drainage/marsupialization, amniocentesis, ectopic pregnancy, subtotal and total hysterectomy.

Operative orthopedics: arthrotomies and explorations ( knee, shoulder, elbow, hip), fasciotomy, superficial and profound (myositic/osteomyelitis) incision and drainage, illiac/psoas abscess incision/exploration/drainage, sequestrectomy/guttering, excision/biopsy hip, vertebral, debridement (compound fractures, degloving injuries, snake bites), joint infiltration of local anaesthetic/steroid, removal of foreign bodies, repair/revision/reconstruction of tendons (flexors/extensor hand/arm, patellar, achillean, bone graft, skin graft, bipediculate/rotational flaps, amputation/revision amputation limbs ,reduction of fractures/dislocations of limbs/vertebral bodies/growth plates, open reduction and internal fixation of fractures, external fixators,

application of cone calipers/spica/Steinmann's pins/plaster of Paris.

Surgery: laparatomies for gunshot/stab wounds/blunt trauma with repair/excision of internal organs ( bowel anastomoses, splenectomy, nephrectomy, colecystectomy, repair of urinary bladder, partial resection of liver, hemicolectomy, colostomy), peritoneal lavage,hernia repair, repair of diaphragm, apendicitis, liver abscess, tracheostomy, tonsillectomy, circumcision, penile/vaginal condilomata excision/coagulation, incision /drainage abscesses, intercostal drain, suprapubic catheters, foreign body removal from ears, nose, oesophagus, suture wounds .
