Obituary:
Mrs. Ida Halpert - 1214 Lantern Lane, passed away Tuesday evening, August 3, 1971. Mrs. Halpert was born Dec. 5, 1897, in Poland, the daughter of David and Rachel Kulik and had been a resident here since 1933. She was a member of the Congregational of Moses, Sisterhood and the local Dorothy Slavin Chapter of Hadassah Organization. Her husband, Alexander, passed away in 1962. She is survived by 2 sons and 2 daughters. Samuel of Paw Paw, Ben of Kalamazoo. Mrs. Norman (Celia) Besbris of Kalamazoo, and Mrs. Joseph (Bernice) Weiner of Grand Rapids; 10 grandchildren; one brother, Tevia Kulik of Israel; several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held Thursday morning at 11 o'clock at the Langeland Chapel, 622 S. Burdick, with Rabbi Samuel Levenberg officiating. Interment in Jewish Riverside Cemetery.
