Following are the main events that have been posted to the group since Shawn had his surgery for anyone needing more information I felt this was the best way to cover the events leading up to this date.....( This was needed due to members who were away and new members which had many questions because they couldn't follow what happened. Hi,my name is Rachel I'm Shawn's sister. He asked me to email you and let you
know that he is okay,the surgery went well and the doctors think he should be
able to come home on sunday. All in all his spirits are up and he's looking
forward to getting home and getting on with his life,his new life. He told me

Thank you for all your letters and kind words,it has ment alot to me and my family. No arraingments have been made yet but I gave Linda my address and I will let everyone know as I do. This group really helped Shawn, he always talked about how everyone was there for each other and how much it ment to him to have you guys to talk to.This operation was Shawn's last chance,he was miserable the way he was,he wanted to change his life.Unfortunatly this wasn't the right time.Shawn is in heaven watching over us,and he is skinny.My older daughter,Ashley,says when she is sad about her uncle she thinks of ice cream,because she and Shawn ate ice cream once out of the box. So think of ice cream and don't be sad.
Thank you again,Group the following suggestion was made by Steven and Kate as you see I wrote to Shawn's sister if I hear back as to a orginization of the family's choice I will set up a acct. at a bank for Shawn and then have money forwarded to the orginization.
Will let you know more details later.Steven and I were so sorry to hear about Shawn. It is a terrible loss. I have been wondering if there is a way that we, as a group could collect money and give it to an organization of the family's choice as a memorial to Shawn. Each of use has an unspecified amount of time on this planet and we need to use each day as if it were our last. Are you doing the things in life you want to be doing?? Why not?? My weight has slowed me down on some of the things, but that is melting away and nothing is going to stop me. It reminds me on the song by Garth Brook, "If Tommorrow never comes".
