Car Seat Safety Tips
Some Tips:
-
Use the car seat every time your baby rides in a car or taxi.
-
Whenever possible, put the car seat in the center of the back set.
The seat should have the baby facing backwards - depending on the size
and age of your child. This will change when your child gets older
and the seat then should be positioned such that your child will face forward.
Consult and READ the car seat manual, the manufacturer's instructions,
someone with experience or a trained police officer. You may consult
with the local or state police who can show you how to properly install
a car seat. From my own experience, you will need to schedule a time
to meet up with an officer - remember, they have quite a bit to do in their
job.
