My name is Frederic W. Grannis Jr. MD and I am a thoracic surgeon with thirty years of experience in the treatment of lung cancer, cardiovascular disease, emphysema and other complications of cigarette smoking. I posted The Lung Cancer and Cigarette Smoking Web Page and the Young People's Cyber Library of Tobacco Related Diseases on Compuserve in January 1996. During that time period, there have been more than 125,000 visits to the site. Because of problems maintaining the sites at Compuserve, a mirror site has been established here at Geocities on March 6, 1999. The page will be updated and extensively revised in the coming months.
