Hi and welcome to Robin's Roads to Wellness. This site is my small way of introducing ways for all of us women to find new roads or paths to increase wellness and healthy living. This information I hope will be useful and interesting as we travel tog ther on this path. The road or path, as we know, is not always an easy one, but instead can be viewed as an exploration of self and the ways to enrich self in a healthy way. Changes in lifestyle aren't always easy either, but with knowledge and understa ding plus patience, the rocky road becomes smooth and well-trod.

As with all lifestyle changes, please check first with your health care provider before considering any changes. They are able to discuss with you options not considered here. With their approval, please feel free to try incorporating some of these various topics into your life.

Asalaamu Aleikum Robin. This is a wonderful and most useful page. I would be interested to see if you can dig up any information on an uncommon form of heart disease called "perinatal cardiomyopathy" This is a disease which is caused by pregnancy. I ad it with my last child and was lucky enough to survive. I have never been able to find any written material on it. May Allah reward you for your informative page and guidance for all sisters, all women :)

Thank you for this page, It does bring awareness to the communiity of women. I have had to force my mother to get her first mamogram at age 53! I am 23 and always in need of proper education on how to treat the body in a heathly manner, I take it for g anted that I am young and have no limitaions due to illness or anything, so I must remember that this is the only body that I will get, so I better us it wisely!
