Welcome to my Diabetes page, I hope that it will be as much fun, and as informative for you as I expect it to be. I have included links to other diabetes related sites and I have also included links to other more fun sites, after all you need to be entertained as well.

This site includes a What is Diabetes page for the newly diagnosed, a Pen-pal list (should that be keypad-pal) in which you can e-mail me your name and particulars and I will put you up on the page, I also hope to use this to get Diabetics who have and have had the same problems to get together and work it out themselves, a Q&A page where you ask the questions and I will answer them, if I don't know the answer personally I will find it out for you, I promise. I also at some stage in the future hope to have a featured Diabetic page, where a diabetic from a different country/background will write an article about what Diabetes has meant to them, and how it has changed their life.

I must stress this most strongly: No information that I have written on this page is a substitute for a doctors advice. I am not a doctor, this page is designed to bring Diabetics together. If a piece of advice sounds like it could help you then please, discuss it with your doctor, he knows your case history and how well you handle your Diabetes.
