"Oh! What a day!"
Watching wearily
as the day comes to a close,
wondering what will happen next.
"Dad, I need your help on this,
there's nothing in the text"...
with homework coming from everywhere,
and as night draws near..
"It's my turn on the computer, Dad,"
"that computer was a great idea, Dear!"
Our home has grown by leaps and bounds.
Kids coming from inside the walls...
some destroying the bedrooms,
more are running down the halls...
PJ, Lauren,Aarin,Karla,Kelsey, Mikie G. and Nick.
Where are we gonna put them all,
"Dad, the dog just got car sick !"
Jessie and Joey now brighten our lives,
with Nancy, they bring sunshine to our day...
Joey has his very own style,
Jessie's smile peaks out..to play!
Our Moms and Dad scurry around,
Dad's organizing the "Rat Patrol"...
Pam and Nancy are working hard,
trying to maintain "crowd control"...
Mommy, you don't look so good !"
Daddy's waiting for the doctor to call...
"You just give me a great big hug !
That'll take care of it all !"...
But then there comes the time of day
when we've all done our thing...
Mommies take a well earned break,
as we wonder what tommorow will bring !
My kids are safely tucked in bed,
our day is almost done...
and the nicest part of being a Dad?
I can't wait for tomorrow to come !
"I love you all...your Daddy...Ken Bass"
