The Flag Signalling team was always called up for performance due to their capability and competency. This team had represented Kedah Darul Aman state to the performance of Flag Signalling when the St John Ambulance Malaysia of Selangor state visited Kedah. Mr. Hew Ken Hoe had contributed a lot to the team by training them and the performance was commendable.
The casualty circle is a branch under the St John Ambulance Malaysia of Keat Hwa Secondary School division. It is a fake up team. The team was set up to provide a new knowledge for the members. Usually the fake up team consists of a team leader who is a form four member. The leader was selected by the Executive Council Committee (EXCO).
The team usually prepares a fake casualty for the use of Inter Squad First Aid Competition , annual camp, Recruit Day, Inspection Parade and Enrollment Ceremony , and other activities. Fake up is a useful knowledge for all the members because through the fake up, members will know how to recognise the wounds and other possible injuries that can happen in their daily living.
'Wounds' and 'injuries' can be made by using flour, oil, salt water, colouring, gel, glue, chicken bones and others. The team will hold their meeting so that they can plan the team's activities for the whole year. This team's membership is not bounded to any member. Lectures by the experts in fake up and practical exercises also been carried out during meetings.
