The Congress is a
joint meeting of the World Federation of Neurology Research Group on HD and
the International Huntington Association (IHA), traditionally held every two years. Since the
2003 Congress in Toronto the meeting has been restructured to
offer a scientific program that is open to both researchers and HD organisations.
The Congress will be
followed by an extended meeting of the IHA on 14th and 15th September 2005, which will
feature updates and reports on the work of the IHA member organisations, the AGM of the
IHA, and presentations related to the work of IHA members around the world.
Shirley Ward, Christchurch
Field Worker, will be New Zealands representative at the International Conference.
Anyone thinking of attending
the Conference is asked to contact Dorothy Tortell, Mob. 0274 440 520
