EDITORIAL

Half way through another year – how time passes!!  An interesting issue this time round with a full account of all the marvellous activities at the Annual Young People’s Camp.  Another sterling effort from Dorothy Tortell and her helpers, especially Mark Chapple.  Thanks also to Mark for providing the photos – a wonderful record.

For people who don’t know the significance of the piece on Woody Guthrie – it was his second wife Marjorie who was the driving force in establishing a formal organisation for HD in the USA and subsequently internationally.  It shows again that a single person who is motivated can make a significant difference.

The Editorial Committee has been discussing the possibility of offering the Newsletter electronically to those who wish to receive it this way.  Details of how you can register for this are outlined in a separate article.

Cheers
Mary
