THE ABC OF POSITIVE STRESS MANAGEMENT
One hunred years ago life moved more slowly and was much more predictable. There has been some enormous changes over the last century. These changes have meant increased demands and with it has brought increased stress.
How do you cope? The body has a stress warning system and you can take action. The action can be either positive or negative. If positive action is taken, stress can be powerful. I fnegative action is taken, stress can be overpowering. Stopping clear thinking and sensible action.
The following is a short guide.
A is for AWARENESS Knowing what it is that causes you stress.
B is for BALANCE Learning positive ways of balancing the
stress in your life, thus
enabling you to work with stress, rather than letting it overpower you.
C is for CONTROL
AWARENESS + BALANCE = CONTROL.
