Wellington Association Activities
contributed by Dorothy Tortell
Our programmes are well underway again after the summer holidays. Our various support groups will continue to meet regularly in each of New Plymouth, Wanganui, Hawkes Bay and Gisborne and new groups are planned for Wellington and Palmerston North. I plan to start a support group for Carers in Wellington and I wish to hear from anyone who may be interested. Likewise, for those from Palmerston North and the vicinity, if you are interested in participating in a support group, please do contact me.Swimming and music group activities will con-tinue regularly in Wellington and Napier. New members to these groups are always welcome. We (and that includes my colleagues in Napier and Wanganui) are always ready to receive sug-gestions for the formation of other groups. This year is shaping up to be another very bus year. In addition to continuing with our regular activities, Wellington will also be organizing the Camp for Young People in April and the Biennial Conference in October. Further information on each of these initiatives is to be found elsewhere in this Newsletter. For any further information or support please do not hesitate to contact the Social Worker nearest you -
