Tis a year since the death of Princess Dianna; I felt her life radiated light and hope to others. She was the personification of a good hearted soul who used to her fame to help others. How much suffering could be eliminated if we all followed her example??
With her death a little of our humanity dies as well.
The world has gotten too far away from an caring and ethical stance. When greed and cynicism contributes to the death of anyone it calls into question our abilities as humans to care.
Dianna only wanted a normal, happy life. I am deeply moved and saddened by her death still to this day!! She toiled to bring to light the truth about those who struggle with being marginalized by society! For that I will always hold her memory dear! She did not live just for herself as too many of us do on this planet. For Diana, civilizations selfish attitude towards suffering was the saddest truth about life on this planet today. She tried in her life to lessen others suffering. Should we do any less? One does not always need money to affect social change. Sometimes a positive attitude or a smile is gift enough in this world we live in. We all can make a difference in this world if we try!
Too many of our fellow human beings are struggling to have a safe and normal life in a world where if you are disabled, poor, or different from others your life is deemed worthless by society at large. When did what we have and not who we are become so important to us??
Thank you Princess Dianna and Mother Teresa. I pray their work will never be forgotten and that we all heed their message to care for others. May her soul rest with God and the Angels. Certainly she was an angel to those whose lives she touched!
I ask all of you who view this page to do something in your own community to make this world a better place in honor of the memory of these two fine humanitarians! Aug. 31.1997and AUGUST 31, 1998
