SIMPATICOTHERAPY or SPLACHNO THERAPY

CLASSIFICATION:

Three great modalities present the methods, to which we called Direct, Somatic and Interpsicophysiologic.

First, direct modality on the splachnic, is used when the pathological functional upheaval because very frequently it happens the splachnic irritation or esplacnitis, either is generalized or limited (solaritis, coronaritis), producing in these cases or pain, dystrophy or espasm of the devices and corresponding tissues.

Due to the particular importance of the regional circulatory increase in the visceral life, we can consider, in these cases, to the vascular performance like direct, notice that the capacity to direct this increase is one of the more precious therapeutic arms and of more promising future. This splachnotherapy topical or anatomical Simpaticotherapy can be included like, or be described as physiological, when it acts on:

a) the nutrition of the tissues like the pancreas endocrine in the treatment of the diabetes;

b) of the suprarrenales in the case of reumatoide arthritis, or

c) in any territory, or that happens espasmos arterial or which is desired regional circulatory increase by diminution or suspension of the arterial tone.

Third, Interpsicophysiologic, that disconnects the pathogenic action of the disagreeable emotion or the psicophatic reaction on the simpatic life, at least while the mental hygiene or the psycotherapy directed by the specialist is obeyed to, takes place circumstantially when the hygiene or the psycotherapy is not possible.
