This Hospital & Rehabilitation Center has been established in Janakpur by the
by the NGOs of Nepal with the main OBJECTIVES of PROVIDING PRIMARY ORTHOPAEDIC
& TRAUMA CARE to the poor people and APPROPRIATE TRAINING/EDUCATION to the Health
Manpower in this field.
THIS CENTER HAS BEEN CLOSED FOR THE TIME BEING DUE TO LOCAL PROBLEMS
The 'Orthopaedic & Trauma Foundation,
Nepal' has poineered the establishment of this center with the help from other
local/national/international NGOs.
TheWOC-UK has provided the initial
necessary equipments for this center and it also supports the Training/Workshops
organised by Orthopaedic Foundation under the leadership of Dr R K Shah.
