just how magickal is NLP? | Don't
laugh - I learnt a bunch of Magickal techniques as part
of my master practioner training. Do what thou wilt
always has been the hole in the lore. It's quite clear to
me that magick as defined by, say, Crowley, is precisely
what NLP and DHE are all about - 'changing consciousness
in accordance with will'. And just as in a ritual you go
through a set of actions to produce a set of internal
states, exactly the same thing happens when you're
telling a metaphor or installing a strategy. Is it just
coincidence (the 20th century superstition) that we also
learn to control our tonality to produces changes in
consciousness (here Enochian comes to mind)? Crowley even
mentions (somewhere in "Theory and Practice of
Magick") that when using the Tetragrammaton simply
the suggestion to "enflame yourself" (the first
of the chain of states) should automatically bring on the
other states, and their culmination. Well, most of
us here have used NLP, and believed that RB and BG
started it all. Many of us have realised some of the
intentions behind it, but few have yet become aware of
the true intention: a cover for the Ancient Illuminated
Seers of Bavaria. NLP is a technology, a superior
technology, and it is precisely the same technology that
has kept this mad immortalist secret society alive for so
long. Some here write about NLP and actually use the
processes, but how many of us have realised what it's all
about? NLP is a prank, a prank that worked, and perhaps
works too well. It's true intention was to lead us into
Magick in a sense. Now, the Bavarian Illuminati may begin
all over again, or they may continue to try to install a
deeper inner sense. Certainly the signs were
there. The discussions with Robert Anton Wilson (a known
Illuminatus!) clearly showed something, but the curiously
surprising thing about it all is how few of us have
become cognisant of what was really going on. Hopefully
there will be more of us who say all this is just a
prank, and I for one feel that I'll be among the first
here to agree. Fortunately now, we are all left with the
right to a choice: to continue to disguise the limit or
to build a new but unknown technology ourselves and be
leaving all of this old NLP. Hail Brigjs! |
