Multiple Sclerosis Page

( I am not a Doctor and do not pretend to be one. The content of this page is to help answer some questions someone may have or to point them towards a place that can.)

Since you have come to visit this page chances are you have or know someone who has Multiple Sclerosis. There is a reason why most of the lettering on my homepage is so large and that is one of the symptoms associated with MS is Optic Neuritis which affects the eyes.

When symptoms appear this is called an Exacerbation. Some of the many symptoms of this disease are Spasticity (tremors), Blurred Vision, Balance Difficulties, Coordination Difficulties, Bowel & Bladder Problems, Numbness and or Tingling sensations, fatigue and depending on the severity of the problems the person could end up with depression.

There are different kinds of MS also
Relapsing/Remitting in which the symptoms sometimes come and go even though some may eventually stay and the other being Chronic Progressive in which the symptoms over a period of time do not usually go away and usually increase.

If you are feeling depressed, even if you have or don't have MS I came across a great little poem called
Don't Quit
check it out.
