That is some story with Sara. I really enjoyed it. Since you work with the elderly you may have patients with Creutzfelt-Jakob Diseaase (CJD). that horrendous infectious rapidly progressive fatal brain-deteriorating disease, I suggest you visit the CJD oice website. There is a fact sheet on CJD, as well as a library of links and webring. Early signs of CJD are psychological, visual and coordination problems. In 1 study done at Yale University 13% of clinically diagnosed Alzheimer patients were found on utopsy to have CJD. A fast Alzheimer's may really be CJD. Also, normal sterilization does not kill the CJD infectious agent so it can be spread through surgical instuments. Come learn more at the CJD Voice website.
