I am 35 years old and have been married for 15 years. We have 3 children. I weighted approx. 115 pounds before I had my first child. Through the years I have steadily added weight until I topped out at 199 pounds. I started the Carb. Addicts Diet on J
n 2 and can gladly say that I have lost 9 pounds. This is the first diet that I seem to be more successful at ( I have tried them all) I actually went to one of our favorite restaurants for lunch that serves the BEST yeast rolls and I didn't crave them
t all!! I do have a question though. My mother and I are on this together(moral support!) and she works and has a hard time cooking two meals each evening. One for dinner and then her lunch meal for the next day. I saw on a web site a few days ago som
thing about preparing bag lunches for a week in advance along with the recipes to do this. I can't seem to find this again. Does anyone know where this is?

Currently on the Atkins diet, well trying to stick with it. Just had my gallbladder out on Tuesday, so right now I eat what sounds good. But am looking to keep with a new way of eating. Like the increased energy with the LC way of eating.

Loved reading your journal and looking foward to seeing your progress. Stick with this. I know it can be discouraging not seeing the pounds come off and having the guys lose faster than us. Have you tried keeping a pair of tight, tight jeans around and
rying them on about once a week? You will often see the inches lost rather than the pounds and it is great incentive.
I lost about 20 pounds and am about where I want to be, but still watch the carbs. My experience was that the pounds were very slow to come off, then a wonderful 3 pound lose every couple of weeks. So, again, stick to it and we are all here to give you
