Tim is an extraordinary boy who loves music, playing guitar, science, video games, clothes!, bike riding, and brain teasers. He turns 18 in September 2009.
Having been incorrectly diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder since early childhood, he had many problems with stimulants and treatments specifically designed for ADD. I removed him from public school in 3rd grade and taught him using Unschooling techniques. He needed that year to regain his self-esteem and confidence, and though the transition back to public school was tough, he's learning to be patient, compassionate, and responsible. The combination of many life experiences has made him unique.
I am VERY PROUD of Tim's progress and determination. =)
