I'm not diagnosed with Lupus although when I was about 8 and again at 10, I woke up with the butterfly rash on my face. It was not itchy or uncomfortable, but it was very distinct and disapperaed within a couple of days. My pediatrician suspected Lupus an sent me to a dermatologist who said she thought not. But I've lived since then with this fear that I may have Lupus.....
