These next few items are conditions that I have. They
will have a * by them.
They can be very disabiling. That is one reason that
I am not able to be on the net as much. I used to be
able to help people with their pages & make things
for them. Also myself & Bridey were the original
ADHH Image Researchers. I really miss being able to
help out with things as much as I used to. I am
telling about myself, not for sympathy or pity. I
just hope that it will help someone or their families
understand some of the things that goes on with these
conditions. I sure hope that it will!!

If you know of anyone with Sleep Apnea & they are not
on a CPAP machine, please let them know that this
condition WILL kill you!! Before I was diagnosed with
this, I had gotten to the stage where I was pretty
much bedridden for a year. I was so weak, that I
could hardly stand up without help. When the test was
run, it showed that I was stopping breathing atleast
48 times an hour all night. The Dr. said that I would
have been dead within a month. So, please if you do
know of anyone with any of the symptoms of Sleep
Apnea, please try to get them to get help.

Here is picture's of how it looks to wear a CPAP
machine & what the machine looks like. The CPAP
machine keeps you breathing, while you sleep.
Although, my CPAP headgear doesn't have the white cap
on my head.

** UPDATE **
Well, I have started getting some really bad problems
with BRAINFOG. I had thought it was just like my
memory getting worse. NOT the same. I have had to
stop working for now, hoping it will get better.
Also had to quit driving. I had been limited to just
driving to & from work & maybe a store or so.
For awhile driving was pretty disorienting. I had
just started back driving a little for a few months,
after not driving for over a year. I was so glad
about that!! But I have found myself not knowing how
to get where i was going, lately. Or finding my way
back. I live in a small town for over 30 years, so I
know where eveything is. I kinda get in a daze. My
head get's all heavy & buzzy feeling. I end up just
staring at something or off into space. My eyes won't
focus right. Then I will snap out of it for a little
bit, sometimes all day, sometimes for just several
minutes, then it happens again. My whole body feels
like it is being pushed down, that something heavy is
standing on my head & is weighing me down. I end up
gasping for breathe.
I wandered around WalMart for over 2 hours not
knowing what I was doing. Finally got lucid for a
little bit & found my car, by pushing on my trunk
button on my keychain. It makes my trunk pop up.
Then, when i got in the car I couldn't figure out
where i was supposed to go for awhile. Finally
figured that out & then didn't know how to get there.
Got that figured out & at every street, I had to
decide where to go from there. It was pretty awful!!
This had happened for about a week at different times
& places. Also, the memory had gotten bad before
this, but not as bad as it is now. I have to think
about things over & over & write them down, then I
forget I wrote them down or where I put it. I started
a fire on the stove, while I was putting frenchfries
in the grease. I had them on a styrofoam plate & put
the plate in the grease with them, before i
remembered that you didn't put the plate in also.
I have done other dumb things as well. I find myself
staring at this little blinking line, everytme i quit
typing to go back & check my spelling or to think
what i am writing about. Then I daze
over again. The screen goes off & I have to start
over. So, I stopped working & am waiting to see what
happens next. Well, if i remember I will give another
update. Take care & God Bless!!!
I had an attack of Cataplexy for over 30 min.
I fell after coming out of my restroom, which is
right by my bed. My husband was asleep just a few
feet from where I fell. But I couldn't talk or move,
so my son found me later on the floor. That was an
awful feeling to have him find me. He is only 17
years old. He & my husband have been a GREAT help to
me through all of my problems!! Also my other son(22)
& the rest of my family!! On the top of the
list, that has been the best help is **God ** !!
He helps pick me up when I fall down or am hurting to
bad. Thanks to his help, I am able to even work at my
old Bookstore a few days a week. It is VERY hard most
of the time to work & I pay for it at the end of the
day, but I refuse to let all of these conditions beat
me!!! My CPAP machine is portable, so I can take it
with me. As the result of a couple small
strokes(TIA's)
& Cataplexy attacks, I have constant pain in my left
arm & leg. Sometimes I hardly have much use of them.
I type mostly with my right hand now.

I have just started taking this medicine for

been helping me stay awake more. It is GREAT!!!

I had this next one, so bad
for years. It was so bad that it would keep my throat
actually burnt. For years, I would not be able to
talk sometimes for months at a time. I am now taking
LIBRAX
for it & some other stomach problems. The
Librax helps with both. The Dr's tried me on
Prilosec, but it didn't help my stomach problems.
I would be hurting so bad, that I could only roll up
into a ball & pray to sleep or die. My Internal
Medicine Dr. didn't want me to take it beause of my
Sleep Disorder's. Because Librax can make you sleepy.
He wanted me to go to an experimental clinic, so they
could try different types of drugs on me for my
various conditions. I said no, because i didn't know
what the different types of medicines would do to me.
When i told my sister about it, she said that I
better not, because i would probably grow another
head or ear or other body part.LOL!!! The Dr. sent me
a registered letter saying that since I wouldn't do
as he asked, that he would no longer be my Dr. Which
was fine by me. I had already found another Internal
Medicine Dr., that said he saw no problem with giving
me the Librax. So, as long as I remember to take it
twice a day I have no more pain in my stomach or the
problems with the GERD. Which is just WONDERFUL!!!
