Thanks to Kitty, I have a new, old pic of Melissa. AND, an article. The article is the rough version. It's a little run together and other stuff. I've been trying to go over it and format it, but I almost think that's illegal or something. I should just leave it the way it is... because it's not my work to be changing. So... I will.
And the pic of Melissa is obviously from her DCC days, so it's about 2 years old. But I'd never seen it, and suspect you haven't either, so there it is.
Anything else? Not that I can think of.

Well, Thanks to Kitty for the heads up, but the Dallas Cowboys webmaster updated huge. Check out the newer, improved DCC Page. I haven't had a time to go through it all yet, but it looks cool, and that's worthy of updating.
And... Ravens won the superbowl... not very super. But that whole 3 touchdowns in 36 seconds kicked much booty. Commercials... eh.. nothing spectacular. For the quality of the commercials, and the quality of the superbowl, $2.5 million was NOT worth it. The half-time show... tollerable. I love Aerosmith. *N Sync is decent. Britney was actually kinda cool. I loved her voice in that. I almost expected Kid Rock and/or Run DMC to come out. "Walk This Way" is probably Aerosmith's most infamous songs, and since there were already so many people out there, it seemed perfectly logical.
And on a side note, it tripped me out, I guess, that Britney was up there with Steven Tyler. His daughter is older than she is. And you could glimpse every now and then how he was clearly checking her out... because I was, too. But then I remembered... they collaborated (or one would hope) for "Satisfaction" which I still haven't heard... maybe I'll hook up Napster... naughty, naughty Napster.
AND, the XFL starts today. I don't know what to expect. I'm curious... but I don't really care. And the more the press reminds me that it's wrestling connected, the less I want to watch it.
And how ironic is that? Someone emailed me about auditions, and there's the info: Auditions
And I guess that's it for now... But since I'm updating, I'll play with some other things, but nothing terribly noticable or noteworthy.

What to say? I put up a message board. There it is.
And... Ms. Brooks wrote back to me. She said... she said Melissa went to persue her music career. Yes ladies and gentlemen, Melissa Medlock could possibly have a music career. That's... weird.
And that's really it. W. Bush is President. The superbowl is next week. I'd almost be tempted to put a poll up over who you guys think will win. But I see it as... The Cowboys aren't playing, so I don't really care. Ravens? Giants? Whatever.

Minor updates. I corrected Rows4You's email... if you clicked it, it would work, but it read wrong. Anyhow, that's fixed. And I put the enhanced pics up. They're very good, kinda big, too. They're in the pics section.
And I wanna make a few changes to the page. Nothing severe, I just want to make it a little less confusing. I'll try to work on that this weekend... or completely forget about it.
And I need to start archive-ing the old news... darn. How should I go? By season? Month? Season sounds better. So... I guess... I'll leave everything up until preseason.
Anything else? Oh... I kinda/sorta wanna put up a message board. Then people could leave messages and what not. And IF Tanea or Melissa ever stop by here, they'll be able to see what their fans have to say. But I fear perversions... then again... the DCC is the essence of sex. Well, I'll moderate. I'll try to keep all the overwhelmingly naughty stuff off. But it sounds like a good idea, doesn't it?
Yeah, yeah, ideas, ideas... but it all means nothing until it's done. I'll work on... or not.

I'm sorry THIS is SO late. But I have a good excuse. Around 9pm-ish, Christmas Day, the electricity went out because of the ice storms. It didn't come back till New Years Day. And I went to Tulsa for the week and didn't get back till today. We didn't even get to see the end of the first half. But the radio said Dallas suffered and embarrassing loss. I still don't know the score. I'll check now and put it up.

I appologize for this being so late, but I wasn't overwhelmingly compelled to update. I was in the mindset that... we've got nothing to lose, so let's wipe the grins off the Giants' faces. Instead, it was more like... We've got nothing to lose, so let's lose bad. Not bad like it was horrible, but bad like it was so good, for so long, and then that last quarter. Either way... one more game... that's not worth playing.

The Buccaneers spanked us. The score wasn't too terrible, but... the playing was. I didn't even see the first half. I tuned in JUST in time to see a highlights of all the screw ups.

Well, I fixed the pics in the DCC Calender section. I JUST now knew it was messed up. Well, not really. The "ZOOM" needed to be capitolized is all... but they work now.

I'm ashamed of the Dallas Cowboys. That was just sad... but extremely entertaining... but this page isn't about them:
I've tried, and tried, and I can't think of what to put in the Tan & Mel section. And the pic section was supposed to have pics of them together... but there's only like 2 or 3 of those, and the rest are like old highschool squad photos. Which is fine and dandy, except I'd feel wrong putting the other people on the squad up on the internet. And it'd seem useless to have a huge pic of a squad, with all the faces blurred... so Idunno. I'll think of something.
And God... if you read the internet, and come here, please, for the love of You, don't let my 'Boys keep getting spanked.

I'm ignorant. I looked at the page, and went on with life. Only now, have I actually READ the page. The calender doesn't come out until Tuesday, September 5th, 2000. AND... the COOLEST news, it will be featured on ESPN. "The Making of the 2001 Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Calendar" Tuesday, 9-5-00, at 7pm Central.
And, as I read more, Tanea, which... maybe I AM slightly biased... but somehow, of the 12 months, I expected to see Tanea a lot. But she's only (yeah, "only") on the cover, and June. It's just neat. Tanea's a calender girl, AND a cover girl. Idunno, the amount of pride of have for her is weird. I'd wish her the best of luck and the best in life... but it looks like she's headed that way. Melissa is still no where to be seen, but I refuse to take her down. Besides, I don't doubt she just got on with life. Although the life of the DCC may seem glamorous, they work their cute little butts off for $50 a week, and I don't doubt it just wasn't cutting it, so she got on with life.
AND: THE Miss Tanea Brooks is gracing the cover of the 2001 DCC Swimsuit Calender. Go, pick it up, support the DCC, and Tanea. And for anyone else, I plan on purchasing the calander, and scanning what I can. And hopefully, I'll be able to get Tanea to sign it. But game days at Texas Stadium are the best and worst chances for that. ANYhow, even if I DO get the calender, I recommend picking it up. I may focus on Tanea and former DCC Melissa, but all the DCC's are beautiful, and worthy.
AND, last and maybe even least, I plan on re-doing the site a bit. I like it and all, but it's just... Idunno, old. And the colors seem too dark. Maybe I'll do like the home jerseys. White, blue detail and silver... somewhere, Idunno, I'll work on it, we'll see. Coming soon, but I'm lazy, so don't rely on me
