THE PT PLACE

My name is Nicole Marie Boyko, and I am presently preparing to graduate from the 6 year entry level master's program in Physical Therapy at Northeastern University. I designed this web site during my second year of college as a resource for Physical Therapists and Physical Therapy students.

As a PT student, I don't know how many hours I spent doing research on the internet, whether it was for a paper in one of my classes or just for my own knowledge to find out what's going on in the world of PT. Unfortunately, most of my time was spent lost in Yahoo or Google trying to find sites that have the kind of information I was seeking. That's when the light went on, and I decided to write this page for my benefit and yours. It contains links to resources for the PT student, the practicing Physical Therapist and folks just looking for information on physical therapy or other alternative therapies.

I am currently finishing up my final clinical affiliation at Newton-Wellesley Hospital and will be entering the job market very shortly. Please check out my resume and online profile along with the other links. Thank you and I hope you enjoy my page!

Nicole's Guide: This is a compilation of links to sites that I think have the best comprehensive resources concerning Physical Therapy.

For the PT Student: links to pages run by and for PT students, Nicole's picks for Universities with excellent PT programs and other useful resources.

Areas of Interest: links to areas in PT of special interest to myself including TBI, SCI, Women's Health and Fibromyalgia.

Alternative Therapies: featuring links to great Shiatsu, Massage Therapy, and Reflexology Web sites and more.
