The Virginia Chapter of Myasthenia Gravis Foundation

We desire to make our organization known to you and the service we provide to those who have been diagnosed as having Myasthenia Gravis.

We provide the following services for Myasthenics and their families:

1. Patient and Family Education concerning MG
2. Information and Referral
3. Active Support Group in the Hampton Roads area
4. Access to a Drug Bank for Medication
5. Limited Financial Aid
6. Chapter Newsletter published quarterly
7. Medical Advisory Board to answer medical questions
8. "Help Line" – talk with other patients or patient family members
9. Chapter Meetings – Bi-annually

Our purpose is to educate Myasthenics and their families so they may deal with the disease and to support research to ultimately defeat MG.

An all-volunteer staff operates our Chapter. We have no fees for our service. We do have $10.00 annual membership dues. However, if a MG patient is unable to pay the dues, we still want to serve them as members of our Chapter.
