Dr. Phillips has been a wonderful doctor for my child since she was 6 mo old. He talks to the children and listens to them. He is very patient and understanding and is excellent at answering questions and explaining things clearly. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This doctor is really Great! He really listens to all of your concerns and never acts like your exaggerating. He definitely takes a proactive approach. Gastroenterology at Children's Hospital of Orange County. Dr. Grant is the most knowledgeable and caring doctor that I have ever met. He is moral, ethical and above all else listens to the parents concerns. Dr. Grant has truly been a blessing in our lives and in many others. Dr. Flanagan helped me feel that it was okay to have
frustrated feelings with my newborn. He also continued to work with me to find the
problem. He prescribed all the medications that the GI specialist would have had Dr.
Flanagan not done so.
What a wonderful doctor. So thoughtful and gentle with is patients. My son was vomiting excessively and Dr. Edwards was pretty sure what the problem was and admitted him to the hospital and did everthing she could. This doctor felt my sons stomach and knew he had pyloric stenosis and not reflux and immediately got a PED. surgeon. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This ped GI worked with our normal ped GI and is a wonder to be seen. He is too far for us to see him regularly but he is amazing. He is based out of Scottish Rite Children's Hospital ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dr. Shoen is an Assistant Professor of Gastroenterology and Nutrition with the Emory Children's Center. We took my son there when he was 4 months old suffering from silent reflux. She is the most patient, kind, and thorough Doctor we've taken our son to - there have been many. She's also great about explaining her ideas and diagnosis in detail and allowing you the parent to make choices about the treatment (where appropriate). She even responded to a weekend page when we were out of town and called me long distance to help us through a rough weekend. How many Doctors even allow patients access to their pagers? She is very pleasant and excellent with children. My son adores her and I've seen her with other children who seem to really respond well to her too. I would recommend Dr. Shoen to anyone with a child suffering from reflux or anyone else who needs a pediatric GI! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Brenda has spent 2 years helping us unwind C's GI mystery and get her off her feeding tube. She has educated herself on the specifics of our child's case - when the drs. were stuck in their same old ruts. If she hadn't stood by us, been willing to investigate all philosophys,. . . I don't know if we would have ever got her eating! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Excellent care giver. Diagnosed the problem on first visit, which our son was suffering from Gastro Reflux. Treated with Reglan and Zantac. it has been 6 months and we have a very healhty baby.
Susan has become a great resource. She has put the
specialist in perspective, listened when the specialist wouldn't, . . .She has a partner
who has two grown daughters who have suffered from reflux for their whole
lives.
This ped GI is it for GERD. He has experience working with the CDC in Atlanta and has a wonderful manner with parents. He has done wonders for my daughter and has even consulted with my other child (one time visit). ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This Dr. is just wonderful. He is sympathetic to a mom and seems to trust her feelings. His nurse is so nice and helpful and laid back. I have had nothing but a great experience with Dr. Rittmeyer. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
One of the finest Dr.'s you could ever meet, he is wonderful with both the children and the parents. He knows all about reflux and does not hesitate to take action. He is espically close to his special needs children always hugs the kids. He always asks hows mom doing? On more than one occasion he has helped us through some really rough times, and when Dylan was an infant and had was on continueous feeds he never let us sit in the waiting room because he knew I was terrified about stomach viruses so they always put us in another room.
