Very caring, very updated on the latest information about reflux. 3latham@prodigy.net ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MISSOURI:
When my first son was born, the pediatrician we had chosen for him dismissed my concerns of his spitting up, abdominal discomfort and his screaming when he would have a bowel movement. At three weeks of age, we changed to Dr. Claudia. She immediately did extensive testing and Zack was diagnosed with reflux and mild Hirshprungs. She always seems to have the time to listen to all of my concerns and crazy ideas, although her waiting room is never empty. When we first noticed signs of reflux in our second baby, at three weeks old, she was very concerned and even called us to check on his progress! She is a wonderful person as well as a very knowledgable pediatrician. I would highly recommend her to anyone who cares about the treatment of their child(ren). zack@clnet.net -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This man is excellent!! He himself has reflux so he is very understanding. All three of my children have reflux and are being treated by him. zbsmom@aol.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My 1st child had tons of "throwing up" that I thought was severe. He was thriving and otherwise very healthy and quit spitting up at about 1 year old. My 4th child has severe reflux and must have meds to get through her day. She is now 5. I see the difference in the two cases as well as my doctor did. He is very smart and really does listen to the parent. NEBRASKA:

Excellent Pediatric GI with technical skills and excellent bedside manner. Listens with sincere concern and has compassion as well as the background. Works hand-in-hand with a very talented Ped Radiologist and surgeon if needed. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Excellent doctor, will go the extra mile for your child. KIM@bellatlantic.net --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
NEW MEXICO:
Dr. Rose is wonderful, and his staff work very hard to make sure the child is cared for in the least intrusive way possible. My husband and I were with our daughter throughout her endoscopy. Not because we wanted to but because this is what Dr. Rose wanted for our daughter. NEW YORK:
NORTH CAROLINA:
Dr. Houck listens to what you say. He's extremely articulate and organized. He seems to have a genuine care for your child, and his love of children pours out into his work. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dr. Rubin is very conservative in his practice. He does not diagnose without proper testing and 'trial'. He will not immediately diagnose GER without first testing, re-testing, talking and questioning and observation. He also has a very 'dry' sense of humor that may turn some off... OHIO:
Dr. Potter diagnosed our son, Zachary, with reflux when he was about 4 months old. She has been very compassionate and caring. Also, she stays very involved with Zachary's pediatrician even though we are 3 hours away from Children's Hospital. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dr. Horn diagnosed our son at 2 weeks old after a bad chocking spell. He has always been willing to listen, reassure and do the least invasive test possible to make Seth feel better. He checks up on us and knows us when we come to the office. we really appreciate his attentiveness and concern. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
He is the best!!! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I took my son to Dr. Markle at almost 4 months of age. Dr. Markle is a female and has "been there done that" so to speak. She is the most understanding and patient pediatrician I have yet to see and like the rest I have seen ALOT. She spent 2 hours on our first visit, never once looked at her watch and actually LISTENED to me and Mason. It's peds like her that gives me back my maternal instinct and thank goodness she is here. She also believes in if at first it doesn't work---DON'T STOP UNTIL YOU GET IT RIGHT!! -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My 4 week old daughter was very ill with reflux but no one would listen but her and she took immediate action. |
