Lord God, heavenly Father, we beseech You to keep us in the true faith; and because we have been baptized in accord with Your command and promise, and according to the example of Your Son, we pray You to strengthen our faith by the Holy Spirit, and to lead us to everlasting life and salvation through Your well-beloved Son, Jesus Christ.
