Using The Plus Lens Theory Plus Lens Theory Notes in PDF format What you are about to embark upon is a journey to improve your eyesight through natural means. This is a self-improvement program. This manual will teach you a set of exercises that will improve your eyesight. The second part of the manual will teach you how to take care of your eyes. As a result of what you will learn from this manual, you will not have to wear corrective lenses for the rest of your life. Then follow what is in the second part of the manual to take care of your eyes for the rest of your life!!! I am sure all of this sounds very exciting to you, but
of course something of this magnitude can't be reached overnight, you will
have to work for it, you will have to work very hard. Remember, anything
in life worth having, is worth working for.
The very first thing that you must do is write down your goal. When you write down your goal please do not be vague, you must be very specific. Along with your specific written goal, you must make a calendar, and on the calendar write down whether you will spend 30 minutes or 2 hours daily on this program. Once you have written it down, you must be committed, once you have made that commitment, stick to it. Also you must write down at what time you'll do the exercises. Everyday do the exercises at that time. Once you have finished the exercises for the day, cross out that day. Everyday you must visualize, you must visualize for at least five minutes everyday seeing the world perfectly, visualize seeing everything clearly, visualize seeing street signs, birds, people's faces, etc.., perfectly. Just close your eyes, and visualize your goal as if it was accomplished. Do it for five minutes everyday. Everyday you must say to yourself a positive affirmation 100 times. Make up your own positive affirmation. My positive affirmation was: "day by day, my vision is improving as a result of doing the eye exercises, very soon I will have perfect 20/20 eyesight, I will be able to see the world perfectly, I will be able to see people and things perfectly". At first you may not believe what you are saying to yourself, but that is ok. Just say the positive affirmations that you have written down, and everyday say it to yourself 100 times. Goal setting, visualization, and the positive affirmations are all the tools that the most successful people in the world utilize to accomplish their goals. Dr. Napoleon Hill, the author of many books on the subject of success wanted to know what ALL successful people have in common, and setting goals, having a positive mental attitude, and visualizing their goal as if it was achieved are what they all have in common. Don't you think it's about time you started to imitate successful people's techniques so you too can be successful in whatever you want to accomplish? An individual who is nearsighted can see near, but he/she
can't see distant objects clearly.
I suggest that you buy yourself a snellen chart. This way you can objectively see if your vision is improving or not. The key word in the last sentence was "objective", so do not cheat yourself. You see, I want YOU to prove to YOURSELF that your vision CAN improve. Therefore please do an objective self-examination of yourself with the snellen chart everyday and see the results for YOURSELF. I want to add that your vision is fluctuating dally, do not take my word for it, prove it to YOURSELF right now. I am sure someone in your household does not need prescription lenses to see, so please ask that special someone to participate in this study. Tell him/her to read the snellen chart, I can guarantee you that that person's vision will be clear and sharp at the 20/20 level, and then at other times it will be less than 20/20. You can do this experiment with yourself also, with your glasses see how your vision is, and I can guarantee you that at one time it will be at the 20/20 level, and at other times it will be less than 20/20. So please do take alt of that into account when you are checking up on your progress daily. When you are checking up on your progress, and if you can see the snellen chart slightly better today than three days, or two day ago, then what would you conclude? In your notebook, you should write down the progress that you are making. When you are writing down your progress, please be as specific as you can, do not be vague. Everyday check up on your progress at least three times, and write down the results in your journal. Your vision will improve as long as you do the exercises and you follow what is in the manual. However, please be patient. Your vision didn’t deteriorate overnight, don’t expect your vision to improve overnight. When you are doing the exercises, you will be reversing your myopia. Since you want to improve your vision, take your glasses or contacts off. Glasses are nothing more than a crutch. The only time you should wear your lenses is when you need them, such as when you are driving, or looking for a street address. For those of you that wear contact lenses, do not wear contact lenses, instead switch back to glasses, because with glasses, you can easily put them on, and you can easily take them off. Anytime you need to absolutely positively need your glasses, put them on, and then when you are done, take them off about 80% to 90% of the time in the day you won't need your lenses. But remember, you must do the exercises, and at the same time not wear your glasses for your vision to improve. So don’t put on your lenses if you are just sitting around, watching television, talking to a friend, etc... Glasses are a crutch, they are a crutch because they are doing all of the work for you. When you take your glasses off, you are removing that crutch, and you will improve your vision at the same time if you do the exercises. When you have stopped wearing your glasses for 80 to 90 percent of the day, usually it will take a week for you to adjust to it. Many people, especially those that have worn glasses for many years will say to themselves "but without my glasses, I can't see a thing, I am blind as a bat without my glasses.." That problem is a mental one. You can see, the only problem is that you can't see clearly. Think about that last statement. If you follow what is in the manual, you do the exercises, and then if you put on your lenses, all the improvement that you have made, as well as all future improvement will go down the drain. That is the had news, but the good news is that you can go back to that old level in 10 to 15 minutes worth of exercise time. First you will need to purchase three pairs of plus lenses. You must buy a +1.00, +2.00, and a +3.00 lenses. I would advise you to purchase your lenses from a wholesale distributor instead of a drug store. Just compare the costs, you will save a substantial amount of money. First you will exercise with the +1.00 lens, then with the +2.00 lens, and then when you are done with the +3.00 lens, you will have 20/20 vision back again. With the plus lenses, you will improve one slight blur at a time. The main purpose of the plus lenses is that they are similar to weights for your eyes. Notice what happens when you put on the +1.00 lens, everything looks blurry, put on the +2.00 lens, and it is very blurry, now put on the +3.00 lens and everything looks very, very, very blurry. Also you must buy several sheets of black construction paper, so you can glue on print on the center of the construction paper. The size of the print that you will glue on will depend on your vision. Just experiment with yourself put on the +1.00 lens, now place the print up to the tip of your nose, and now slowly push away. If it gets blurrier and blurrier then this print is for you. If you place the print on the tip of your nose, and it's not perfectly clear, then get some print that is slightly larger this time. Some of you that have a very strong prescription will have to start out with headlines and large print, but some of you that only have a moderate prescription will start out with conventional print. By the time you can see conventional print with your +3.00 lens, with your arms stretched out, you will have 20/20 vision. When you are on this program, you must always push the
limit everyday. If yesterday you stopped at a certain level, then today
you must challenge that level and what was blurry yesterday should be made
clear today. Everyday you must push the limit.
This is it!!! Now you will learn the principals that you will employ to improve your vision. First before we begin the actual exercises, you must do a warm up exercise first. This is an exercise that will help you to relax, as well as to rush in oxygen into your body as well as your brain. So first stand up straight. Now spread your two feet 16 inches apart, and also spread your arms 36 inches apart from each other. Close your eyes and imagine the deepest darkest black that you can imagine. While you are visualizing, inhale through your nose, inhale while counting 1,2,3, and 4, stop when the 4 seconds are up. Now count up to 4 seconds, but this time just hold your breath for 4 seconds. When the 4 seconds are up, exhale through your mouth for 4 seconds, when the 4 seconds are up, stop exhaling, and begin to inhale through your nose. Do this three part breathing exercise for 5 minutes. Concentrate on the breathing and imagining the deepest darkest black that you can imagine only, if your thoughts wonder off to anything else, then immediately go back to concentrating on the deepest darkest black and the breathing. Understand this exercise before moving on. When you are done with the breathing exercise then you must do the next step, which is progressive muscle relaxation. You will use muscular tension to relax yourself. Lie down on your bed or the floor. Tense up each of the following muscles one at a time: calf, quadriceps, buttocks, stomach, lower back, shoulders, biceps, triceps, forearms, and the neck. What you should do is tense them, act like you are in a bodybuilding competition and you are showing them off. You should tense those muscles up as hard as you can for 15 seconds, and then let go of that tension and then go on to the next one. You will be improving your eyesight by doing a certain set of exercises. Many of you that have very bad vision will be happy to learn that the worse your vision is, the faster it will improve. If your vision is moderate, it will improve, but not as fast as a person whose vision is bad. If your prescription is more than -6.00 diopters, then you can consider it "bad". If your vision is below -6.00 diopters, then you can consider it moderate. After you have done the breathing and the muscular tension exercise, put on the +1.00 lens and lie down. Now have the printed material glued onto the center of a black piece of construction paper, and place the print up to the level where it's perfectly dear. Place the print up to the tip of your nose if that is what you have to do. The print must be perfectly clear, it must be perfectly
clear. Now very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, slowly
push it away. As soon as the print is no longer perfectly clear, stop.
Now close your eyes gently, then open your eyes, and then open them as
widely as possible, do this 10 times. In 10 sets, what was slightly blurry
should be perfectly clear. Many people have trouble with the opening your
eyes as widely as possible. You may think you are opening your eyes as
widely as possible, but if your eyebrows are not going up an inch, then
you are not doing it correctly, and therefore your vision will not improve.
Many of you, without your glasses can't see a regular sized print, such as a book or a newspaper perfectly clearly if it were stretched out to your arms length. Well if you do the exercises, for several days, I will guarantee you that you'll be able to see that perfectly clearly. In other words, what you could not accomplish before, now you will be able to accomplish as a result of doing the exercises. If you could accomplish such a feat, what would you conclude? Now back to the subject, some of you probably didn’t experience the print clearing up when you did the exercise, well the reason why that occurred is because you placed the print too far. The exercises that you are doing is just like any other exercise that you would normally perform. For example, if you could only bench press 100 lbs., and if you tried to bench press 130 lbs. you probably wouldn't be able to do it. The reason is because you are going over what your strength would allow you to do. But if you added only 3 lbs. and you attempted to bench press 103 pounds, you would be able to do it. We will be using the same principles for your eyes. At first it will only take you 10 blinks to see fuzzy print become perfectly clear, but there are six other levels, and they are: 20 blinks, 30, 40, 50, 60, and the 120 blink level. Think of your eyes like a rubber band, at first it will be easy, but as you progress it gets slightly harder. The six other levels is like adding more resistance. You will see the fastest improvement on the 60 blinks and the 120 blinks level. Even if you placed the print to the print to the level where it was perfectly clear, you slowly pushed it away, and you stopped when it no longer it was perfectly clear, and you did the exercise, and you made sure that you did not place the print too far, then the problem is that your eye muscles are weak, very, very, very weak. Your eye muscles are so weak, that they do not have the initial strength that is necessary to do the exercises. Well then you must follow these directions to build up your initial strength. Place the print where it's perfectly clear, now push it away very, very, very, very, very, slowly. As soon as it's no longer perfectly clear, stop. Now do the exercise, close your eyes gently, and open your eyes as widely as possible. Even though the print may not clear up because of the predicament that you are in, usually it takes anywhere from 50 to 75 hours of exercise time before you can experience the thrill of seeing fuzzy print become perfectly clear. Once you have experienced that, then you can go on. When you are doing these exercises, and if the print clears up then it becomes blurry again, or if it clears up only halfway, or if it does not clear up at all, then you went too far. Place the print where you can see it perfectly clear, now push it away very, very, very, very slowly, and as soon as it is no longer becomes perfectly clear then stop, now do the exercise. Some of you might have two different prescriptions for your eyes, the left eye may have a prescription of -2.25, and the right eye may have a prescription of -2.00. Thus the right eye is stronger than the left eye. So if you are in this predicament, then do the exercises for the weaker eye first, once it equals the strength of the other eye, then do the exercises for both of your eyes. Some of you are nearsighted, but you have astigmatism, therefore everyday when you do the exercises, find the level where the print is perfectly clear and then do the exercises. When you are doing the exercises, you are building up muscle strength, and at the same time you are turning the shape of your eyes from an oblong shape to a perfectly round shape. When you open your eyes as widely as possible, that is what you are accomplishing, you are changing the shape of your eyes to a perfectly round shape, the natural shape it's supposed to be. If you want to see the fastest improvement, then do the
exercises for 2 hours daily. Don't do more than 2 hours, because 2 hours
is the most that your eyes can tolerate in a single day. If you decide
to take this route, you don't have to do the 2 hours worth of exercises
all at one time. You can break up the 2 hours into 4 thirty minute sessions
or whatever blocks of sessions you may prefer. While 2 hours is the most
that you can do, 30 minutes a day is the least you can do if you want to
see results. If you do the exercises for less than 30 minutes, then you
will not see any results. Also one day you can do the exercises for 30
minutes, and the next day if you have time to kill, you can do the exercises
for 2 hours, or any time in between the 30 minutes to the 2 hour range.
This part of the manual will teach you how to take care of your eyes. You see, you are nearsighted because you did not take care of your eyes in the first place. What would happen to your heart, lungs, hearing ability, etc.., if you did not properly take care of it? It would malfunction. You need to learn how to take care of your eyes this time around, so you won't have to wear glasses ever again for the rest of your entire life. In this part of the manual, you will learn how to take good care of your eyes. Once you learn these methods, you must integrate them into your life. You must make them a habit, you are a slave to your habits, the good habits and the bad one's. At first it will be difficult, but soon they will become a habit. First of all, you have to change your nutrition slightly. If you eat the right kinds of foods, then they will help to heal and rebuild your eye's tissues. The fight kind of foods that you must eat everyday or at least every other day are: carrots, vegetables, and fruits, all of which have lots of vitamin A and beta carotene. Consume green leafy vegetables, green beans, nuts, and oils which have vitamin E. Also consume grains, liver, and sunflower seeds, which have vitamin B. Do not use fluorescent lights, if you do have them in your home, then get rid of them. Fluorescent lights are irritating to the eyes because they "flicker". If you go close enough, you can observe the "flicker"- they go on and off, on and off, on and off, etc.., but they do it extremely rapidly. Subconsciously your eyes are responding to the "flickering" and it is straining your eyes dramatically. When you are reading, doing computer work, or watching television, never do so in the dark or without proper lighting conditions. Not having enough light will cause your eyes to strain tremendously. Also, at the same time make sure that you have indirect lighting, because direct lighting causes a reflection, and that isn't good for your eyes either. From now on, you must listen to your eyes. When your mouth needs water, it gets thirsty. Your eyes send you signals too when you overwork them. When your eyes are: sore, itching, tired, hurt, red, swelling or if your distant vision is beginning to blur or if your distant vision isn't as clear as it once was, then your eyes are telling you to "stop what you are doing now, please take good care of me". You see, all of those symptoms are signs that you are overworking your eyes. When your eyes send out that message, listen to them, stop whatever you are doing and follow the advice that is given below. When you take a break because your eyes are telling you to stop, do a little bit of palming. Here is how palming works. Rub your hands together very quickly. Create a lot of heat. Close your eyes and cover them with your palms, do not put any pressure on your eyes. Just relax, and imagine the deepest darkest black that you can imagine. Do this simple exercise for a minute. Do it again if you want to, palming relaxes the optic nerves, it enhances blood circulation around the eyes, and it relieves muscular rigidity around the eyes. Today, in our society, we spend a lot of time doing close work, we read, write, or do computer work. So every three minutes look out into the distance for just a split second, then look near, then look into the distance, etc.. Do this several times, this will stretch out your eyes. Don't just do close work with your eyes for hours at a time. Use your distant vision as often as you can. When you are doing close work for several hours, in between you should take several breaks and stretch out the muscles of the eyes. This is how you stretch out the muscles of the eye. Close your eyes shut, then open your eyes as widely as possible. Then return the eyes to their normal way. Now look up as far as possible, then look down as far as possible. Then blink very quickly for a minute. Then look as far right as possible, then look as far left as possible. Now blink rapidly once again for a minute. Look diagonally up to the left, then look down to the right diagonally, look diagonally up to the right, then look down to the left. Look diagonally down to the left, then look diagonally up to the left. Look diagonally down to the right, then look diagonally up to the left. You can also do eye rotations. Rotate your eyes in slow circular motions. You can also stretch your eyes out by looking at the tip of your nose, and then look at an object that is out in the distance. Stretch your eyes whenever you feel your eyes are tired, sore, itchy, strained, teary, etc... Stretch your eyes out whenever you are going to do close work for prolonged periods of time. People that are nearsighted do not blink as often as people with normal healthy vision do. Normally, a person should blink anywhere from 10 times to 20 times a minute. When we blink less than 10 to 20 times a minute, we dry our eyes out. Also not blinking leads to staring. Blinking rests the eyes, it stretches the ocular muscles, massages the eye balls, and it forces the pupils to contract and expand. Blinking is even more important when you are doing close computer work or reading. So blink as often as you can I would like you to do this study for yourself Observe someone who is doing close computer work or if that person is reading, check how many times that person is blinking. Also check how many times you blink when you are doing close computer work or reading. So whenever you are doing close work, blink, and blink as often as yon can. When you are not doing anything, move your eyes around. Move them, and move them from one object to the next object as quickly as possible. This will stretch out your eyes. Remember, we spend a substantial amount of time using our close vision, but not our distant vision. Also, when you are not doing anything, close your eyes, then open them as widely as possible, then return them to their normal shape. You will notice a quick flash of slightly improved vision. When it comes to stretching your eye muscles, the possibilities are endless. So just let your imagination run and you can invent your own method to stretch out your eye's muscles. Now I would like to end on a positive note, but unfortunately,
many people who try this method fail. Why do they fail, they fail because
they give up too easily. They face an obstacle, and instead of going up
against this obstacle, they will give up. I hope you persist, do not give
up, remember, you are about to accomplish something wonderful in your life,
now don't you think that this will cost you something?
