Testing ANY Demonstration [Demo] Software in MS Windows.
It is suggested that you use an Uninstall program/ utility:
1. Have a floppy "Systems Disk" ready for emergency reboot [just in case].
2. Before installing the Uninstall program make backup copies of all Windows\ .ini files.
[win.ini, system.ini, progman.ini, control.ini, etc.]
To be held off-disk and "on floppy".
This will assure that you will be able to remove the Uninstall program and restore your system when you are finished.
3. Install and use a separate Uninstall Program/ Utility.
Even when an uninstall function is included in the Demo software.
Your own independent uninstall program assures that the uninstall process will be throw.
Without leaving hidden files, markers, notations, etc.
4. Run your uninstall program first to record your system files before installing the Demo application.
5. Then install your Demo software.
6. Finish by running your uninstall program to record your system file changes.
7. Do Not Use The Uninstall Again.
Until you are finished with the Demo application and Wish To Remove it from your hard drive [or to Reinstall it].
8. A zipped copy of the Demo software should also be held for backup [or reloading].
