WEB SITE TRAFFIC ALERT:
Site Traffic is an ever increasing problem. Poor connection and transmission problems can occur anywhere between your computer and its' world wide destination. Links to web pages and download sites may be slow to respond:

Some Web Sites that are just "Traffic Jammed". Microsoft is a good example. Even on a weekend, in the middle of the night, Microsoft Mirror Sites can be "jammed" half way around the world in Europe as well as Hong Kong.

1. Keep trying at different times throughout day and night hours. The problem may not be at your end.
2. Search for alternate world wide Mirror Site URL Addresses.
3. Search for Email Address and request assistance to receive Web Page copies by Email. See: free Email accounts [below].
4. With an Internet Service Provider, an Email Account Address, and an Email Utility [such as Eudora], you can browse without a Browser. If you have a Email Destination Address, you can request and receive copies of Web Pages by Email. To be viewed [or stripped to ASCII text] with an off-line utility.

IF PROBLEMS CONTINUE:
1. The problem may be yours.
2. Before contacting your Internet Service Provider for Technical Support.
3. Briefly describe your computer system, including your modem [make and model].
4. Copy your .ini files Win.ini, System ini, Winsock, Browser, News, FTP.
5. Email copies to your Internet Service Provider's Technical Support Department. Ask Technical Support to confirm or correct your .ini file settings.

EMAIL PROBLEMS DOWNLOAD LARGE FILES:
Some Demo program files are large enough to slow your computer's ability to quickly download directly through your Email Utility.
1. Get a free Email account, such as: http://www.hotmail.com. These are high speed [baud rate] dedicated lines [T1] for sending and receiving Email transmissions.
2. Fill in the the application form, and use the address as an alternate download address when sending or receiving large program files.
3. You do not need an Email Utility [such as Eudora] to download your Email files. Your Browser can directly download these files from your free Email account at slower baud rate speeds. You can also compose or upload [at slower baud rates] by Browser or Email Utility directly from your free Email account for quicker delivery.

DOWNLOAD ASSISTANCE:
1. If you are still unsuccessful, or have problems downloading, get a free Email account.
2. As a service to our readership, contact SuperAdaptoid: adaptoid@teleport.com and ask assistance in downloading by Email.

BROWSING WITHOUT A BROWSER:
1. With an Internet Service Provider, a UNIX Email Access Account , an Email Utility [such as Eudora], and an Email Destination Address; You can browse Without A Browser.
2. You can Email your Destination Email Address to request copies of their Web Pages to be viewed [or stripped to ASCII text] with an off-line utility.
